Deliberately Wealthy (“Deliberately Wealthy”, “we”, “us”) provides educational content and tools about using AI in everyday financial decisions. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to deliberatelywealthy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what is needed to run the site, communicate with you, and keep it secure, and we do not sell personal information. Effective date: September 6, 2026.
Information We Collect
If you subscribe to the Deliberately Wealthy Weekly Brief, we collect the email address and first name you provide through our sign-up form; this information is sent to and stored by MailerLite, our email service provider. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message. Like most websites, our hosting and security tools also automatically collect standard technical information — such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and timestamps — as part of normal server operation.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to send the Deliberately Wealthy Weekly Brief and respond to emails you send us, to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site, and to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not use your information to generate individualized financial advice, and we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Analytics & Site Performance
We use Google Analytics, accessed through the Site Kit by Google plugin, to understand in aggregate how visitors use the site (such as which pages are popular) so we can improve it; this may involve standard analytics cookies and similar technologies. Our site also uses LiteSpeed Cache, a performance/caching tool that may set technical cookies needed for the site to load correctly, and it may load fonts from Google Fonts’ content delivery network. These services may receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type as part of normal operation.
Security & Hosting
This site is hosted on Hostinger, whose infrastructure and platform tools process standard technical and server-log data (such as IP addresses and request logs) as part of normal hosting operations. We also use Wordfence, a security plugin that monitors traffic for malicious activity, may temporarily log certain visitor request data, and can block traffic that appears harmful, in order to help keep the site secure.
Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies: technical cookies needed for core site functionality and caching (for example, from LiteSpeed Cache), and analytics cookies (from Google Analytics) that help us understand aggregate site usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so may affect some site functionality.
Data Retention
We retain Weekly Brief subscriber information (email address and name) for as long as you remain subscribed, and it is removed when you unsubscribe. Standard technical and server-log data is retained for as long as our hosting and security providers retain it under their own normal operating practices. If you email us directly, we retain that correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to and document our communication with you.
Your Rights & Choices
You can unsubscribe from the Deliberately Wealthy Weekly Brief at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. You may also email us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and we will respond to reasonable requests. You can manage or block cookies through your browser’s own settings.
Third-Party Services & Cross-Border Processing
We work with a small number of third-party service providers to operate this site, including MailerLite (email delivery and subscriber management), Google (Analytics and Fonts, via Site Kit), Hostinger (web hosting), and Wordfence (security monitoring).
