How Deliberately Wealthy Tests AI-Money Workflows

AI makes it remarkably easy to produce an answer. Deliberately Wealthy is more interested in whether the answer is useful, verifiable and safe enough to act on.

Real problems first

Every workflow begins with a financial, time or decision problem that is specific enough to test. We don’t publish a workflow merely because an AI tool can do something interesting.

AI is not the source of truth.

For consequential facts, Deliberately Wealthy prioritizes primary and authoritative information such as government and regulator material, official product terms, issuer filings, financial statements, original account records, contracts, official pricing and independently checkable calculations. High-quality secondary research can provide context. AI is used for extraction, organization, comparison, scenario framing, red teaming and drafting — not as independent proof of its own claims.

We test workflows, not just prompts.

Where relevant, Deliberately Wealthy records the tools and model versions used, the test date, required inputs, known failure modes, human checkpoints and what actually happened during the test.

Different AI models can produce different answers.

A second chatbot agreeing with the first is not independent verification. Where model choice materially affects a workflow, we try to make that limitation clear.

Consequential actions stay human-authorized.

Deliberately Wealthy workflows may watch, organize, analyze or recommend. They are not designed to autonomously move money, execute trades or make consequential financial decisions on a user’s behalf.

Investment boundary

Investment content focuses on education, factual research, research processes and non-personalized analysis. Deliberately Wealthy does not provide personalized securities recommendations, individualized allocations, paid portfolio reviews or automated trading services.

Corrections are part of the process.

AI tools, product terms, pricing, laws and financial information change. If we discover a material error in a workflow or article, the goal is to correct it clearly rather than quietly defend an outdated conclusion.

Commercial relationships

Commercial relationships do not determine Deliberately Wealthy’s editorial conclusions. When a material affiliate, sponsor or other commercial relationship exists, it should be disclosed clearly enough for the reader to understand it.

The standard isn’t “Did AI answer?” It’s “Would I trust this workflow enough to use it myself — with the right verification and human judgment?”
