One issue, one subject. Usually a workflow that has been run against a real situation — what it produced, where it fell down, and whether it was worth the time it took.
Sometimes that is a result worth copying. Often it is the opposite: an approach that looked promising and did not survive contact with actual verification. Both get published, because a list of things that don’t work is worth as much as a list of things that do.
No roundups of this week’s AI announcements. No “ten prompts that will change your life”. No tool reviews written around an affiliate link.
Why this is not another AI newsletter
Most AI newsletters report what was announced. This one reports what was tested.
That difference matters because very little in the AI-and-money space is checked before it is recommended. A prompt gets shared because it produced an impressive-looking answer once — not because anyone confirmed the answer was correct, or that it held up the second time on someone else’s numbers.
Everything here goes through the same standard: run it on a real problem, check the output against primary sources, and report what happened honestly — including when what happened is that it didn’t work.
